The TAG Story

Passionate. Resilient. Innovative. That’s Ed Shackelford, founder and CEO of The Assurance Group – the fastest-growing insurance marketing organization in the United States.  Partner with us as a team builder or as a personal producer and see for yourself how we’re growing at a rate of 40 percent year over year.

Ed Shackelford kicked off his insurance industry career in 1988 with an initial focus on final expense sales. As Ed and his team grew, the organization added Medicare Advantage business.

The Assurance Group later diversified into a full-line firm focusing on Senior products. With our home office in Archdale North Carolina and key leadership throughout the US, we support TAG agents as we serve clients across the country. Find out more about our unprecedented growth.
